School Group Reservation Information

Reservations

After submitting the form below, your seats will be reserved, and you will receive a confirmation email within 2-4 business days. On the day of the show, simply bring a printed copy of your confirmation email to the MSU Riley Center, as it serves as your group's ticket.

Seating

Seats are assigned based on several factors, including group size, student age, and the order in which registrations are received. Please provide your final and most accurate attendance count when submitting your form. As the show date approaches, changes to your group size may not be possible.

Timing

Every performance lasts approximately one hour. To ensure a safe and organized exit, please remain in your seats at the end of the show.  Staff and volunteers will guide your group out of the theater.

Chaperone Policy

For safety, we require a minimum of one official chaperone or teacher for every 10 children. Chaperones must be part of the school’s official group as counted on the submitted form and be capable of navigating up to four flights of stairs. Please note that family members not included as submitted on the form will not be admitted.

Student Safety

For security reasons, a teacher or chaperone must accompany students at all times, including trips to the restroom or if leaving the theater early.

Buses & Arrival

Please arrive 30 minutes before showtime. Space is reserved for all school and charter bus parking. As your bus approaches the block, campus police and staff will direct you into those spaces. For safety, please DO NOT let students exit the buses until directed by Riley Center staff. (The Arts District Parking Garage is free and available for cars and vans and is nearby.) Your group leader should know all information as submitted on the form and be at the front of the entire group.

Single classes or grades should not approach separately if they were counted together on one form.

Support & Assistance

While our wonderful volunteers are here to help with general seating, please look for a MSU Riley Center Staff Member for any specific needs or technical questions. We will be there to greet you upon arrival.

Changing Plans

Because we often turn away schools once we reach capacity, please only submit your form when you are certain of your headcount. If you find that your group cannot attend, please let us know immediately. We reserve the right to charge a $100 cancellation fee. If you are running late on performance day, a timely call to our staff at 601-696-2200 is greatly appreciated.  If there are changes to show times, you will be notified by e-mail.  The contact number you provide is for last-minute communication on show day and should NOT be your school number but instead the group leader’s cell number.
