Touring together for the first time, master musicians Chick Corea and Béla Fleck weave duets of staggering genius, creating mind-blowing performances that defy categorization. This harmonic convergence of two eminent musicians from widely disparate backgrounds brings their diverse experience to flashpoint. Corea has been at the forefront of multiple movements of modern jazz, from free-form abstractions to electric fusion music, as well as contributing to various groundbreaking efforts with Miles Davis—during which period he helped bring electric keyboards including synthesizers to a new prominence in the musical community. Fleck has been just as much a pioneer in the field of modern bluegrass music, as a member of New Grass Revival and the leader of The Flecktones band for 17 years. He gives the banjo a new voice and reputation in contemporary jazz.
